1. About this policy
This policy explains which cookies, and similar technologies such as the browser’s local storage, are used on www.thexerendipity.com and domesticstaff.thexerendipity.com, why, for how long, and how you choose. It completes our privacy notices, which explain how we use personal information.
A cookie is a small text file that a website stores in your browser. Some are needed for the site to work; others are used to measure visits or for marketing, and those are placed only if you agree.
2. Who we are

3. How you choose
- On your first visit a banner offers three buttons, equally prominent: Accept all, Reject and Choose, which lets you allow the categories one by one. Closing the banner with the X counts as a rejection.
- Until you choose, only the necessary cookies are used. Scrolling the page is not consent.
- Your choice is remembered for six months; after that we ask again.
- You can change your mind at any time from the Manage cookies tab, always available at the bottom of the page. If you withdraw a consent, the corresponding services stop and their cookies written on our domain (Google Analytics, Google Ads, Microsoft Clarity, HubSpot) are deleted at once; those that LinkedIn and YouTube write on their own domains are deleted from your browser’s settings.
- You can also delete cookies or block them from your browser’s settings; if you block the necessary ones, some parts of the sites, such as the booking form, may not work.

5. The cookies we use
Measured on 17 October 2026 in a clean browser, after «Accept all», on three pages of each site. Durations marked «set by the provider» belong to services that write cookies on their own domains, or that we did not observe in the measurement: they are decided by the provider and explained in its own policy.
Until you accept Marketing, we ask Google, through its «Consent Mode», not to use advertising cookies. If you accept Statistics only, Google Analytics may still tell Google Ads, without cookies or identifiers, that a visit ended with an enquiry.

On www.thexerendipity.com, Microsoft Clarity is loaded together with Google Ads: although its purpose is analysis, it starts only with your consent to Marketing.
One domain, two sites. The Google Analytics, Google Ads, Microsoft Clarity and HubSpot cookies are written on the thexerendipity.com domain, and are therefore readable by both sites. Your choice in the banner, by contrast, is recorded separately on each site.
6. Providers and transfers
Google, Microsoft, HubSpot and LinkedIn may process the data collected through their cookies outside the United Kingdom and the European Economic Area, in particular in the United States, under the safeguards the law requires (adequacy decisions, the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and its UK Extension where the provider is certified, or standard contractual clauses). 7. Changes to this policy
When the cookies on the sites change, this policy is updated and published with its date and version number; if the change needs a new consent, the banner asks you again.
