The Domestic Couple must possess a minimum of 5 years’ demonstrable experience in similar high-level environments.
Provision of verifiable references from previous households is a mandatory requirement for our rigorous vetting process.
The Role of the Live-in Domestic Couple
As a Live-in Domestic Couple, your multifaceted roles include:
Butler Service & Front of House Specialist:
- Full responsibility for all service duties, including breakfast, lunch and dinner
- Delivery of formal table service, including Silver Service, alongside polished informal dining
- Expert table setting (mise-en-place) to formal and family standards, tailored to daily household requirements
- Meticulous care, cleaning, and correct storage of silverware, crystal, fine china, and the butler’s pantry
- Professional collaboration with kitchen staff to ensure seamless service
- Primary responsibility for guest hospitality, ensuring guest quarters and personal preferences are impeccably managed
- Oversight of exterior presentation standards, including the pool area, pathways, garden maintenance coordination, and garden furniture arrangement
- Technical oversight of household systems (security, electrical, and climate control), with timely liaison with specialist contractors where required
- Adherence to professional presentation standards, including wearing the uniform and white gloves provided by the family, as required
- Guest reception and the coordination and supervision of external contractors, vendors, and maintenance personnel
- A genuine love of dogs is essential.
Housekeeper – Cook:
- Full responsibility for all service duties, including breakfast, lunch and dinner
- Provision of formal and informal table service to the highest standards
- Expert table setting (mise-en-place) in line with daily household requirements
- Meticulous care, cleaning, and correct storage of silverware, crystal, and fine china
- Preparation of high-quality family meals
- Management of occasional dinner parties and guest entertaining
- Expertise in healthy, fresh, family-style Italian cuisine
- Comprehensive pantry management and grocery procurement
- High-end residence management, including routine maintenance of floors, dusting, and specialist vacuuming
- Deep cleaning of windows, drapery, and delicate surfaces, using appropriate products and methods
- Laundry and wardrobe management, including the care of fine household linens and the family’s luxury wardrobe
- Preservation and careful handling of luxury furniture and fine art
- Adherence to professional standards, including wearing uniform and white gloves as required
- Guest hospitality and the coordination and supervision of external contractors and vendors
- A genuine love of dogs is essential.
Full availability for international travel and relocation with the family to seasonal residences (mountains, seaside, and yachts).
The couple must be exceptionally flexible and capable of managing last-minute adjustments communicated by the household.

Position – Accommodation for the Domestic Couple
The family is primarily based in Lugano, Switzerland.
The Domestic Couple will be provided with: An independent, private residence situated within the family property.
Working Hours and Schedule
- Monday – Saturday
- Saturday afternoon and Sunday: Rest days.
- Flexibility is required as rest days may occasionally be taken separately.
- Maximum adaptability regarding shift changes is a prerequisite.
Language Proficiency
The Domestic Couple must possess a high command of the Italian language.
Essential Requirements
- A valid Driving Licence (Category B) with extensive driving experience.
- Prior experience within high profile households with impeccable, verifiable references.
Commencement Date
Although the start date is yet to be confirmed, the selected Domestic Couple is expected to be available to start as soon as possible.
Remuneration and Benefits
- Monthly Net Salary: CHF 4,000 per person
- Overtime: Remunerated as extra-duty pay
- Provision: Full Board and Private Accommodation (including utilities)
- Service Vehicle: Provided for professional duties
(Remuneration request exceeding the stated budget will only be considered for exceptionally qualified candidates with elite UHNW references).
